General Congress of the International Academy of Comparative Law – Asunción (Paraguay)

On 23-28 October, the General Congress of the International Academy of Comparative Law took place in Asunción (Paraguay), with more than 1300 attendees. A new bureau was elected, with Giuditta Cordero-Moss as President and Gary F. Bell as Secretary-General. Then, Prof. Bell (NUS) takes over the function carried out by Diego P. Fernández Arroyo between 2014 and 2022.
As a salient point, during the Congress a Memorandum of Understanding between the International Academy of Comparative Law and UNIDROIT was signed by their respective Secretaries-General, Diego P. Fernández Arroyo and Ignacio Tirado.
