On 22nd February 2024, Professor Diego P. Fernández Arroyo presented the concluding remarks to the “Contract Drafting and International Arbitration” discussion panel.
The event reunited transactional lawyers who regularly draft and negotiate international commercial contracts to discuss and contribute with their experiences and analysis of contract clauses in international arbitration disputes. The discussion is part of an empirical research project lead by Professor Giuditta Cordero Moss that seeks to verify whether international contracts are construed uniformly in arbitration or whether legal traditions play a role even though the frame is international.
