Yesterday, took place the Fourth Intergenerational Arbitration Symposium (“IGAS”), organised by Sciences Po Arbitration Society and the NYU Law Center for Transnational Litigation, Arbitration, and Commercial Law and Scienes Po Law School.

The IGAS is meant to offer an opportunity to confront the visions of young people at the beginning of their careers with those of experienced professionals on pressing issues in arbitration; this year, the panels dealt with “Arbitrating beyond party autonomy,” “State control of arbitral awards—Current trends,” and “Arbitration and Climate Change.” Professor Franco Ferrari, from the NYU Law Center for Transnational Litigation, Arbitration, and Commercial Law, delivered the opening remarks and Professor Diego P. Fernández Arroyo delivered the closing remarks.
