On 10th February 2025 took place the Fifth Intergenerational Arbitration Symposium (“IGAS”), organised by Sciences Po Arbitration Society and the NYU Law Center for Transnational Litigation, Arbitration, and Commercial Law and Scienes Po Law School.
The IGAS is meant to offer an opportunity to confront the visions of young people at the beginning of their careers with those of experienced professionals on pressing issues in arbitration. This year’s edition took place in NYU campus and dealt with hot topics of International Arbitration, such as multi-tier dispute resolution clauses, the notion of award, arbitration-friendliness, and inherent powers. Professor Diego P. Fernández Arroyo delivered the opening remarks and Professor Franco Ferrari, from the NYU Law Center for Transnational Litigation, Arbitration, and Commercial Law, delivered closing remarks.
