1st Programme of International Law Courses in Latin America and the Caribbean, Cartagena (10-20, March 2026)

Professor Diego P. Fernández Arroyo took part in the 1st Programme of International Law Courses in Latin America and the Caribbean, organised by the Hague Academy of International Law, is being held in Cartagena de Indias from 10 to 20 March 2026. He delivered a course on “Present and Future of International Arbitration – Legitimacy Challenges”.


This inaugural edition marks the launch of a new regional academic programme aimed at providing advanced training in international law for students and practitioners from across Latin America and the Caribbean. The courses are conducted primarily in Spanish and hosted at venues including the Palacio de la Proclamación and the University of Cartagena.
